Wishing Stone, American Legion Post #155, Castaways, Two Dueces and back to
Mike's Pub for Military Salute at 4PM. Food and Music by Mick Sharp Band.
All vehicles welcome. $5 donation per person. All proceeds go to American

Field Day 2010 Extravaganza Event - It's that time of year
to again be part of the greatest event in Amateur Radio. Fred & Kathy
Bernquist (aka: N2DCP) are opening up their estate for this event located at
4386 E Posselt Dr, Hernando, Fl 34442. Our
SCARS welcome sign will be posted on the street pointing your way into the
grounds. There are many sites to choose from as most are near many trees for
your antenna configurations, sites will be mowed. Dining feast will include
smoked pork butt supplied by your host and any and all vittles you wish to
bring to share with the others, please RSVP so that I know how many pork
butts to get. Don't forget to bring your suites and
towels, any snacks and drinks you plan to enjoy during this event. After the
event the shooting range will be open for target and skeet shooting practice
if you so desire. Set up will begin when you arrive, try to be here before
11AM on the 26th as the event starts at 2PM sharp. More info: (352)

Annual Great Teddy Bear Run -
sponsored by the
Sarasota
Florida
HOG.
This charity event will benefit KIDS
by the SEA, a local non-profit, serving children with cancer in our
area since 1982.
Every year we have a police escorted parade with a new teddy bear or other
stuffed animal strapped to our bike and end at the Sarasota
Fairgrounds for a big party with lots of food & fun. For $15 & a stuffed animal for
charity, you gain entrance to the parade & event which includes your
barbeque dinner, soda and water.
Once at the fairgrounds there will be Chinese & silent auctions, a 50/50
drawing, a judged bike show, motorcycle rodeo sponsored by the Manatee River
HOG Chapter & live music all day. Call

Recovery -
Florida Challenge -
Disabled Veterans riding bicycles from MacDill AFB to
Mayport NS to raise awareness and funds to help all Disabled Veterans.
Overnight stops at MacDill AFB, Spring Hill, Ocala, The Villages,
Gainesville, St Augustine and Mayport NS. This is not a race, just a run in
small groups escorted by American Legion Riders and other motorcycle
organizations and law enforcement plus support vehicles. Presented by
UnitedHealthcare. Any bicycle groups/clubs wanting to join any part of the
