Registration 11:00am to 12:00 pm at The Humane Society of Sarasota County, Inc. located at 2331 15th St. in Sarasota, FL.(941-955-4131). $10 per hand or 3 hands for $20.00. Buy as many poker hands as you like, all money benefits the animals at this nonprofit charity. There will be a cash prize for the best and worst hand! 50/50 drawing & door prizes etc. Adoptable pets will be the guests of honor! All poker run stops are Irish Pubs/Restaurants. 1st-3rd 8th Annual Citrus County Bikefest - American Iron & Muscle Weekend - 5 Big Name Bands, 12 Class Bike Show, Vette Show, Bikini Contest, Bikini Bike/Car/Truck Wash, Antique Car Show, Kid Zone, Burn Out Pit, Dyno Jet & more. Events will be held at Rock Crusher Canyon Amphitheater, 275 S Rock Crusher Rd, Crystal River, FL 344429 & Harley-Davidson of Crystal River, 1785 S Suncoast Blvd, Homosassa Springs, FL 34448. We will be hosting 10 live web cams to 2 different camps in Iraq Sunday from the canyon to our service peoples families here in Citrus County. Also, Harleys Heroes will be on site to help DAV with their needs as far as paperwork, etc.. regarding benefits. 23rd 6th Annual Blood Drive to benefit the Suncoast Communities Blood Bank sponsored by Sarasota Harley Owners Group 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Suncoast Communities Blood Bank BUS will be stationed at Rossiter’s Harley Davidson near the hot dog gazebo, 330 Cattlemen Rd., Sarasota, FL. 34232. All bike clubs and the general public are welcome to come and donate some blood and stay for a hot dog and Coke.

ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Towards Education) of FLORIDA, Inc.; Lake County Chapter will be hosting a State Meeting. University of FL Extension Office, AG Center 1951 Woodlea Road Tavares, FL. 32778. 2:00 pm.  Over a hundred ABATE delegates (representatives from each chapter) and visitors from all areas of the State are expected to roll into Lake County for this meeting. These bi-monthly meetings are held in different counties of Florida to discuss important issues concerning their groups continued efforts in motorcycle safety and awareness education, motorcyclists’ rights, and legislative bills that effect not only motorcyclists but motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians.  Open to the public and media, please join us.
